OSMA Joins State Coalition to Advocate Against Medicaid Cuts

All fifty state medical associations and DC signed a letter to Congress regarding potential budget cuts to Medicaid. In Ohio, there are close to 3 million people (more than 25% of the state’s population) on Medicaid. Any change in funding would have an impact on both eligibility and services. The state coalition will continue to work with Congress to articulate our concerns as the budget bill is debated. We will update members as new information becomes available.
