OSMA Seeks Ohio Department of Insurance Action on Change Healthcare Cyberattack

Today, OSMA and the Ohio Hospital Association (OHA) sent a joint letter to the Ohio Department of Insurance (ODI) to direct commercial health insurance plans in Ohio to provide administrative and financial relief for physician practices and hospitals impacted by the cyberattack on Change Healthcare.

While CMS recently announced the ability for impacted practices to apply for advanced payment and extensions of different regulatory deadlines, such directives did not apply to commercial health plans in Ohio.
