About the Presenters:
Dr. Laurel Barr is an emergency physician practicing in Columbus and surrounding areas. She serves as Secretary/Treasurer of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA), Chair of the OSMA Young Physicians Section, and Member-At-Large of the OSMA Women Physicians Section. She also serves as several roles in the American College of Emergency Physicians (ACEP) including Ohio ACEP President-Elect, Immediate Past Chair of the Early Career Physician Section, and Chair-Elect of the American Association of Women Emergency Physicians (ACEP). She is a current candidate for Executive Masters of Business Administration at the Ohio State University.
Dr. Engy Habashy is a practicing urologist based in Columbus, serving as a Staff Urologist at Genesis Healthcare System and formerly as the Associate Chief of Surgery at the Columbus VA Medical Center. She completed her urology residency at the University of Cincinnati and an andrology fellowship at the Mayo Clinic. Active in medical leadership, Dr. Habashy serves as the Chair-Elect of the Ohio State Medical Association (OSMA) Young Physicians Section and is a recipient of the OSMA Foundation's Kumar Emerging Physician Leaders Award. Her background also includes service as a United States Navy Hospital Corpsman.
