We Need Your Help! OSMA Continues Advocacy Efforts for Medicare Payment Reform
Last week, OSMA's advocacy team contacted every member of the Ohio congressional delegation—urging them to sign on to a “Dear Colleague” letter from Representatives Mariannette Miller-Meeks, MD (R-IA), Jimmy Panetta (D-CA), and a bipartisan group of physician members.
Our goal is to get House leadership to take immediate action to not only stop the 2.8 percent cut to physician Medicare payments, but also to provide physicians with a much-needed payment update that reflects the inflationary pressure they're facing while running a medical practice.
We need all OSMA members to please tell your member of congress to sign the Miller-Meeks/Panetta “Dear Colleague” letter today. The deadline for cosigners is September 27.
