2023 OOS Annual Meeting Recap
We had almost 400 physicians, technicians and nurses in attendance—and a sold-out exhibit hall!
Two Ohio Ophthalmological Society Professional Service Awards were presented this year to Dr. Bernard Perla and Dr. John Kunesh. The OOS is grateful for their years of dedication and service and ask all members to join us in thanking and congratulating them.
Overall the evaluations were very positive and 100% of all those who reported agreed they were highly satisfied/satisfied with all of the speakers and strongly agree/agree that they gained new information and developed new strategies to implement. Many comments were made on changes they will make to their practice as a result of what they learned, and in particular enjoyed the networking with peers and vendors and the quality and variety of speakers and topics.
This year we had a record-breaking 26 scientific poster abstract submissions, thanks to the interest from many medical students. The following posters were accepted. Congratulations to all presenters!
